On the Beginnings of the Atumist Faith

My name is K. Ahset Aldaya, devoted Prophetess and Priestess of Atum, my All. Some of my personal journey leading to the establishment of the Atumist Faith can be found below if interested. Atumism was officially founded in 2022. Unofficially, it encompasses the religion of billions of people around the world since the beginning of time. Atum is one of the oldest known names for the God of All creation, and originates from the Ancient Egyptian civilization. Atumism is, in the most simple terms, the belief in the God of All Creation. The God of All times, places, and peoples. The same yesterday, tomorrow, and always. The God of Light, Love, Goodness, and Righteousness. Since the earliest times there have been monotheists who believed in the God of All creation, yet because of distortions and power plays, those with this belief have been divided and often actively hostile toward one another. All religions hold both some truth and some distortions of truth. Atumism is a faith which believes that truth may be found through many pathways and that the road to God and goodness is a journey, and not a destination which can be reached while in this dualistic world. To follow God is to follow Good. To follow Good is to follow God. “Atum, uh shaw shay”. Atum, be with you. May you form a relationship with Atum which sustains you throughout your life’s journey.
